A Tower Hamlets charity is holding a summer fair in a bid to raise awareness of its work.
Home-Start Tower Hamlets offers free, confidential support to parents with children under five living in the borough.
Along with parents group Tower Hamlets Mums, the charity will be hosting a a fair on July 21 to fundraise and promote the work it does.
For the children, there’ll be a bouncy castle, face painting, arts and crafts and stalls, while the parents will be able to learn more about the charity’s services.
Home-Start helps families struggling with domestic abuse, postnatal depression, financial constraints or children’s illness.
A specifically chosen volunteer with parenting experience visits homes to offer emotional and practical support on a regular basis. They also make parents aware of local services which can provide extra support.
The fair will take place from 1-4pm on July 21 at Attlee Community Centre, near Brick Lane.
