A new mixed-used development with 30 per cent affordable housing and a green heating system is coming to Bow.
Housing association L&Q is behind Bream Street Wharf in Fish Village, which comprises of 202 flats on the former industrial space facing the Olympic Park.
The development, designed by 2015 Stirling Prize winning practice AHMM, is a mix of private and affordable apartments and retail, employment and leisure space.
Mechanical and electrical services provider J S Wright has won a £6million contract to install the water and heating system in the flats.
They will install an energy saving and carbon reducing communal heat network for all seven of the two to six-storey buildings.
