Detectives are appealing to motorists to contact them who may have captured a Bank Holiday hit-and-run incident on their dash-cams when a car was involved in two collisions in east London within a minute of each other.
A pedestrian was injured in the first incident at 4.40pm on May 1 on the A11 Stratford High Street — but the driver didn’t stop.
Paramedics from the air-ambulance at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel arrived and the injured man in his 30s was taken to hospital.
“This was a nasty collision,” Det Sgt Mark Palmer from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command said. “We really need the public’s help with our investigation.”
The same car was involved in another collision a minute later with two other vehicles half-a-mile away in Westfield Avenue, where Scotland Yard said it was abandoned.
Three men were later arrested and were being questioned and released under investigation.
