Yeovil Town are fourth team to have triumphed at O’s home this season and the Australian goalkeeper was frustrated with the winner

Leyton Orient goalkeeper Alex Cisak believes it is down to the players to get the fans on side from the first minute until the last.

The Australian couldn’t prevent Yeovil Town leaving Brisbane Road with all three points in League Two on Saturday.

A dull encounter was settled by Glovers forward Tom Eaves 76th minute header after O’s switched off at a corner.

Orient fans vented their anger at the full time whistle with several calling for president Francesco Becchetti to leave.

“You can understand why they are frustrated and we had a very poor first half so at half time they weren’t happy,” said Cisak.

“I think it is up to us really because as soon as we start playing well the fans will support us all the way through like they do away from home.

“They are brilliant away from home and we just need to turn around our performances at Brisbane Road.”

It is easier said that done, however, with O’s form in east London a real cause for concern as we approach the end of September.

They’ve now lost four of the six matches they’ve played at home in all competitions this season and won just twice.

Another pattern which keeps on being repeated is Orient conceding from free kicks and corners, which proved decisive last weekend.

Cisak added: “It was a set play and a short corner. We knew they might do that and it was disappointing.

“We’ve watched the videos and it showed them doing short ones, but for some reason somebody has switched off. They’ve scored from that and it’s very disappointing.”

Andy Hessenthaler stated after the match on Saturday that his players had been excellent in training in the week leading up to the Yeovil game.

His goalkeeper backed up that claim and admitted they’ll just have to keep working hard now to put things right at Notts County.

“We worked hard last week and had a great week in training and it just didn’t click for some reason,” said Cisak.

“I’m not sure why. We just need to sort it out and work on the back four and hopefully we can get a clean sheet and three points at Notts County.”
