A man who sexually harassed a woman with her two young children in east London is being sought this week by police who have been trawling CCTV.
The 24-year-old mum was with her youngsters at a bus-stop in Bow Road, opposite Bow Church, when the man made sexual remarks to her, then assaulted another woman in the incident in June.
The mother managed to get on a bus with her children—but the molester also jumped on board, sat near her, then threatened to follow her home before she got off at Forest Gate.
“This has left the woman and her children very distressed,” Det Con Alastair Middleton said. “This man also sexually assaulted another woman at the bus-stop. There were other people around and we urge them to contact us.”
The suspect is described as black, aged 45-50, about 6ft tall with dreadlocks, who was wearing a Rastafarian hat and a black jacket. Police are urging witnesses who were at the bus-stop opposite Bow Church at 4.30pm on June 15, or anyone with information, to call them on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
