Students at the George Green’s School in Docklands had a taste of careers in insurance recently, at an interactive event organised by the insurance sector’s professional body.
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) visited twenty year 13 students who sampled the CII’s award-winning ‘Discover Risk’ activity, designed to provide more information on the huge range of global opportunities that exist in the insurance sector.
Teams of students participated in a scenario-based activity where different levels of risk were explored.
Three key guest speakers from the sector also attended the session and spoke about the different career options available in insurance.
Caspar Bartington, CII relationship manager, said: “Employers are always looking for the brightest talent and we are convinced that through these sessions we will start to identify some of our profession’s future stars.”
