Students from Ian Mikardo High School in Tower Hamlets designed and created their own dragon to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Headteacher Claire Lillis led a procession of the dragon through the school building and grounds β and even down a slide.
In classes students explored the signs of the Chinese zodiac and found out about the characteristics that relate to the year of their birth.
Ms Lillis said: βIt was an opportunity for students to think about who they are in a mythical way, as well as to have a lot of fun.β
