Young adventurers from the East End have been lucky enough to join more than 6,000 others for a fun day in a country park.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from two Tower Hamlets groups enjoyed an event at Gilwell Park Activity Centre in Essex.
Among the activities on offer were archery, abseiling, climbing, water slides and grass sledging. A Ferris wheel also proved a particularly popular attraction.
Groups from Stepney and Whitechapel were among those who turned out to the annual event, held last month.
This year’s weekend attracted one of the largest ever crowds, with thousands of youngsters aged 6-10 turning out.
