The clock turns back more than half-a-century at a pub in London’s East End that’s staging a vintage and retro fete.
The fete has 1940s, 50s and Rockabilly music, a pin-up style pop-up photo studio and a live performances by avant-garde London jazz singer and pianist Esther Flatters.
Revellers who turn up for the ‘Bow Vintage Fete’ at the Eleanor Arms in Old Ford Road near Victoria Park on Saturday week (Aug 20) can dress the part with stalls selling vintage clothes, accessories and crafts, just like the fete organisers and stall vendors who will be clad in 1940s cl0bber.
The fete from 12noon and goes on till 11.30pm after the live music.
