IN TWO years time the Olympic opening ceremony will kick off the London 2012 Games.
Construction workers from the Aquatics Centre gathered on the site to mark the countdown.
People can already register to buy tickets for events which will go on sale in 2011.
There will be eight million tickets for the sporting events and opening and closing ceremonies and a further two million for the Paralympic games.
And the hunt is already on for the 70,000 volunteers who are needed to help out at the games at the Olympic park in East London.
They should register at http://www.london2012.com/get-involved/volunteering/index.php
