A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a collision with a lorry in the Blackwall Tunnel.
Police are investigating after the fatal collision between a lorry and a Suzuki Bandit in the southbound Blackwall Tunnel yesterday afternoon.
The motorcyclist who was aged about 39 to 40 and was from Rochester in Kent was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has not been named by police and a post mortem is due to be held this week.
The southbound tunnel was closed for five hours after the accident.
