RADIO DJs taking their turns at the turntable have spun together a record-breaking 82 tracks broadcast live from London's East End.
Trevor Nelson, Vernon Kay, Mark Ronson and other top disc spinners are now going into the Guinness Book of Records for the world's longest club session DJ relay, after smashing the previous record of 59 tracks, to help BBC Radio 1Xtra
The record-breaking track, Benga & Coki's Night, was played live on air at 5.22pm last Sunday, more than three hours after the DJs began the attempt, at the Vibe Bar in the shadow of the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane.
One long, continuous club mix had to be created with each tune mixed in by a different DJ which had to be seamless without any 'musical mistakes.'
The first attempt failed on track 35 when one DJ didn't fade into the next tune in time.
But the second attempt succeeded until they ran out of DJs on track 82.
