PUPILS from a Poplar school will be taking to the stage at the 02 arena along with Bow chart-topping rapper Tinchy Stryder at an event featuring 14,000 school children.
Students from Ian Mikardo High School are joining the end of term show in July along with X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon and British dance crews Status and Unity, who both made the semi-finals of Sky's Got to Dance earlier this year.
The event has been organized by the Transformation Trust which aims to
to give young people access to opportunities and experiences that will help develop new skills, grow in confidence, learn to work as a team, and discover hidden talents. Tinchy, who has had two Number 1s - Number 1 with N-Dubz and Never Leave You with Amelle from the Sugababes - said: "I was lucky to get support in music from my family, friends and others, but a lot of young people don't.
