A WOMAN was rescued from live electric tracks on the London Underground during this morning's rush hour.
Emergency services were called to Aldgate East station at 8.15am to rescue the woman.
District and Hammersmith & City lines were disrupted for half-an-hour, which also had a knock-on effect on the Metropolitan Line into Aldgate. Services were resumed at 8.45am, but delays continued for a while.
