A SIGNED sketchbook donated by artist Tracey Emin has raised 31 for human rights activists Amnesty International.
The blank book which is sold at art shops was designed by the artist who has made Spitalfields her home since 2001.
She helped mark the silver jubilee of the Tower Hamlets and City branch of Amnesty International by opening their annual festival.
The artist is busy preparing for a new show and was unable to the festival in Spitalfields this autumn but donated a set of the sketchbooks - two of them were out on sale at the fair.
Her book was put on sale on auction website eBay and bidding reached three times its retail price.
