RECORD producer Brian Eno, Only Fools and Horse actor Roger Lloyd Pack and Bethnal Green and Bow MP George Galloway will be speaking in Whitechapel to mark the eighth anniversary of the start of the war in Afghanistan.
The meeting which is organised by the Stop the War Coalition starts at 11am in front of the copy of Picasso's famous anti-war painting Guernica in Whitechapel Gallery.
Also speaking at the event in Whitechapel High Street today are a Lance Corporal who is refusing to Afghanistan and the mother of a soldier who wants to bring the troops home.
Daud Abdullah from the Muslim Council of Britain will talk about the impact of he war on the Muslim community.
