PASSENGERS are being urged to take snaps of scenes of East London’s back yard’ while travelling on DLR trains.
The operators are running a photo contest launched today where passengers upload their shots onto a website showing real views’ as seen from trains and stations, to be judged on how they show the pulse and personality’ of Docklands.
Two age groups compete, under 16s and 16s and over, with a winner from each getting an Olympus camera, with runner-up prizes of prints and personalised photo books.
Photos taken on cameras or mobile phones can be submitted online to the DLR Competition website, along with details of location, entrant’s full name and age, before December 31.
