POLICE have confirmed the identity of a body found in the Thames was a man who had been missing from home for three days.
A patrol from the Met's Thames Marine unit at Wapping recovered the body of 41-year-old Julian Bray from the river near the Millennium footbridge at Blackfriars on Tuesday afternoon.
He was reported missing from his home in West Hampstead in north London last Saturday (August 29).
The incident has been referred to Poplar Coroner's Court in East London, where an inquest is to open. Police are not treating it as suspicious.
