PERSONAL possessions of the Kray twins are going under the hammer in an auction in London.

The notorious East End gangland leaders continue to attract interest decades after their rule of fear and long after their deaths.

A sale of Ronnie and Reggie memorabilia generated �100,000 in January.

Now auctioneers hope Monday’s sale will attract even more interest.

BOXING TRACKSUIT

Lots under the hammer include Reggie’s tracksuit he wore while training at Bethnal Green’s famous Repton boxing club, his pocket watch and a locket with a picture of his wife Frances.

“We are holding a second sale to satisfy the demand from potential buyers and sellers of additional Kray-related items,” said Matt Caddick at Chiswick Auctions.

“All of the lots are from family and close associates of the Krays and we are taking the unusual step of listing details of vendors and history of the items in the sale catalogue.”

WEDDING & DIVORCE

Also under the hammer are the engagement ring Ronnie gave his fiancee Kate and their wedding certificate—as well as the Decree Nisi for his divorce from his previous wife Elaine.

Other items include mugshots taken at Broadmoor Hospital where he was being treated for his mental illness.

Pictures taken with various celebrities, including Barbara Windsor and Liza Minelli, are also on offer and a 1951 Royal Albert Hall boxing programme when all three brothers, Ronnie, Reggie and Charlie, fought on the same night.

The sale is Monday at 4pm at Chiswick Auctions in West London, with online bidding and telephone bidding. An auction catalogue is also available.
