A man has been charged with violence and sexual assault following attacks on three women.

Dylan Makepeace, 23, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, sexual assault, intentional strangulation and two counts of common assault.

The charges relate to assaults that took place in Whitechapel on Sunday (November 27) on three women unknown to him.

He was arrested on the same day.

Makepeace, of Mile End Road, Whitechapel, is due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday, November 29).
