Suspected dealer caught in Tower Hamlets drugs bust

A man has been taken to court after a drug bust in East London.

A plain clothes Home Policing Team in Tower Hamlets observed a drug deal taking place at an address on Wednesday (August 2).

They found the man involved and immediately arrested him on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.

Police recovered 111 wraps of Heroin & Crack Cocaine at the scene.

The man was later charged and remanded in custody.

He has now been taken to court and remanded in prison on Monday (August 7) until his next court date.

In another incident in East London, police carried out seven warrants at properties suspected to be used for drug dealing. Three people were charged following the raids.
