More than £13,000 has been raised for the family of two-year-old east Londoner Isabella Tucker who died in a fatal crash.

Isabella, of Ronald Street, Shadwell, was killed after being hit by a vehicle at a holiday park in Littleport, Cambridgeshire last Friday (August 25).

The incident happened at about 6.45pm at Horsley Hale Farm, Horsley Hale.

Just a day ago, Isabella’s mum’s best friend Arune Bastyte set up a GoFundMe page to help organise Isabella’s funeral as well as to fund mental health support for her mum and sister who witnessed the tragic incident.

At the time of writing, £13,700 has been raised for the family.

The GoFundMe page reads: “Last Friday, our lives changed forever when Isabella was out playing with her sister and cousins on a family holiday.

"A time that was supposed to be for making good memories turned into our worst nightmare when Isabella was struck and killed by a car.

“As we struggle to come to terms with Isabella's death, I am trying to help [Isabella’s mum] organise a funeral to mourn the loss of her baby girl and celebrate her life.

“The burial we wish to have next week costs £15,000 and we are trying to raise these funds to support the family as they navigate this terrible time.”

Arune added on the GoFundMe page that a portion of the proceeds will also go towards mental health support that Isabella’s mum and her eldest daughter who witnessed this tragic incident may need due to this traumatic experience.

“We are extremely thankful for any donations and sharing of this page so we may try to reach our goal to give Isabella the farewell she deserves, as well as the professional support Isabella’s mum and sister need.”
