London is set to get a brand new restaurant to try as the UK's first-ever Air Fryer Restaurant is coming this month.

Created by eBay and the 'Air Fryer King’, Nathan Anthony, AIR will be a pop-up restaurant open for one night only on September 27.

Set on Hoxton Street in Shoreditch, the restaurant will serve dishes cooked using only refurbished air fryers from eBay.

The first of its kind hopes to educate shoppers on the major cost and energy savings to be made through choosing refurbished kitchen appliances, as well as the positive impact it has on the planet.

eBay to open first Air Fryer restaurant in London

The one-night-only special was created after eBay discovered new data revealing that 39% of Brits are not sure how they will pay for increased energy bills this winter, with another 48% welcoming advice on how to cook more efficiently.

In recent years, the air fryer has become the top kitchen gadget, with an average running cost of £55.71 per year vs. an electric cooker at £335.57.

The restaurant, AIR, will have touchscreen iPad menus, frozen margaritas, ice cream and more all made from refurbished equipment.

Speaking of the air fryer restaurant, Anthony Nathan said: "Having started as a home cook in lockdown, opening a real-world pop-up restaurant to showcase a tangible way consumers can save costs this winter is a dream come true!

"These speedy countertop machines can whip up a dish in record time with lower energy use and costs - and despite the name, they’re useful for far more than frying!"

At AIR, customers can expect twelve small plates of specially curated items, including three starters, four mains, and three desserts.

Food items on the menu include steak tacos with avocado cream, miso glazed aubergine, aglio e olio chicken wings, nduja-stuffed arancini balls, peaches with ice cream, honey, and pistachios and Creme Egg croissant balls.

You can get tickets for AIR on September 20th via this link

You can only buy tickets in multiples of two, with a minimum of two and a minimum of six.

Tickets give you two hours with three drinks and the 12 small plates and tickets are free for all.

AIR opens for one night only on September 27.
