A horror 24 hours across London saw three people stabbed with one of the victims left dead.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The week beginning December 11 saw a string of attacks in Woolwich, Wandsworth and Islington

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Boy, 15, taken to hospital after stabbing in Woolwich

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a stabbing at a school in Woolwich.

The incident happened in Hutchins Road at around 10.55am on December 11.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.

The two schools on Hutchins Road are Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys and Girls and unconfirmed reports suggest this happened at the boy’s side of the school.

One witness, who wishes to be kept anonymous, told the News Shopper: “I went to pick my daughter up from the girls school and I witnessed a load of police and staff dispersing the boys from the area.

“I overheard two teachers talking with one of them saying the boy had been stabbed in the classroom and it was into his chest.”

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

Man in his 60s taken to hospital after stabbing in Wandsworth

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Wandsworth.

The incident happened in Winstanley Road at around 4.45pm on December 11.  

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

Man, 21, dies after stabbing during fight in Islington

A 21-year-old man has died after a stabbing during a fight in Islington.

The incident happened in Tufnell Park Road just before 7.30pm on December 11.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital for further treatment.

He was pronounced dead at hospital in the early hours of December 12.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder and taken to a north London police station.
