A horror weekend in London saw four people stabbed, and one person killed in a crash.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The weekend of January 27 saw a string of incidents in Leyton, Wandsworth and Ilford. 

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Two teens taken to hospital and arrested after double stabbing in Leyton

Two teenagers were taken to hospital after a double stabbing in Leyton.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on High Road at around 8.45pm on January 27.

Officers attended and found an 18-year-old man with stab injuries a short distance away in Littleton Road.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and later arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and affray.

A 17-year-old boy was found injured and also taken to hospital.

He was later arrested on suspicion of causing GBH and affray.

Two men in hospital after being stabbed in several Ilford fights

Two men in their 20s are in hospital after being stabbed during several fights in Ilford.

Police were called to reports of several fights on Cranbrook Road at 3.50am on January 28.

Upon arrival, officers found that those involved in the incident had already left the scene.

The two men later presented themselves to hospital for treatment with stab wounds.

They were arrested and taken into police custody where they were charged with affray.

Motorcyclist dies in crash during chase between Range Rover and police in Putney

A motorcyclist has died after a Range Rover crashed with his bike during a police chase in Putney.

Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) reported that the Range Rover failed to stop when flagged down by the police at around 12.30am on January 29.

This began a car chase between police and the Range Rover driver, leading to a crash.

The motorbike rider was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Range Rover did not have any severe injuries.

The IOPC has confirmed that a police chase was already in progress at the time of the fatal crash.

An independent investigation was officially declared at 5.49am.
