A 14-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in east London.

Police were called by LAS at 6.51pm on Saturday (May 11) to Beccles Street, in Canary Wharf, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers and paramedics found a boy, believed to be aged 14, at the junction with Burdett Road.

He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening, Scotland Yard said.

Cordons around the crime scene remained in place this morning.

There have been no arrests at this early stage.
