Roman Road, Bethnal Green stabbing: Man in hospital

A man was stabbed in Bethnal Green and taken to hospital.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 4.16pm on September 27 to Roman Road at the junction with Bonner Street with reports of a stabbing. 

At the scene, a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds. 

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening or changing injuries.

A Met Police spokesperson has confirmed he remains in hospital at this time. 

There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.

The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment in connection to the incident.
