Three men have been taken to hospital after a fire at a tower block in Poplar.
The blaze broke out at the 13th floor of the building on New Providence Wharf yesterday (May 6) at 8.47am.
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to the scene, and a small part of a three-room flat of the 20-storey building was damaged by the fire, along with its balcony.

The London Fire Brigade says that one man from the flat, along with two members of staff for the building were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, before being taken to hospital.
Around 26 calls were made to the brigade and the fire was quickly under control by 9.15pm.
Images shared online show flames from the balcony of the flat before the London Fire Brigade extinguished it.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
