LS Estates, which is behind the transformation of 17 Columbus Courtyard into a life sciences hub, has launched an online survey asking residents, workers, and visitors to Tower Hamlets to share ideas on how the project can deliver positive social impact.
The survey aims to gather suggestions on how the development can benefit the community, with a focus on education, employment, and sustainability.
The survey can be accessed here: https://community.17cc.co.uk/.
Rowan Jenkins, managing director of development at LS Estates, said: "As a socially conscious developer, we want to engage proactively with our neighbours across Tower Hamlets to promote the exciting opportunities that life sciences will bring to this part of London.
"We’re looking forward to speaking with the community to explain more about 17CC and understand how the development can best support local aspirations."
The 17CC project will offer 180,000 sq ft of laboratory and office space, as well as a ground-floor communal area with a café, co-working facilities, and meeting rooms.
The survey is available in multiple languages, including Bengali.
A pop-up event will be held at Idea Store Whitechapel on June 24.
