A significant police presence has been seen outside a hotel in Canary Wharf in response to protestors.
The protestors, understood to be demonstrating about immigration, have gathered around the Britannia International Hotel in Marsh Wall today (July 22).
It comes amid unconfirmed reports circling on social media of the hotel's planned use to house asylum seekers.
The hotel costs more than £400 per night for guests.

Pictures seen by this paper have shown Metropolitan Police officers standing in a line side-by-side at the entrance to the hotel.
Other images have shown people holding flags.
According to Booking.com "it is currently not possible to make reservations for this hotel" on their website.
