A man is in hospital with a head injury following an incident in Poplar.
The Metropolitan Police were called to New Festival Avenue near Edward Mills Way at 11.11pm on July 25 with reports of a person injured.
Officers were dispatched to the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, where a man in his 30s was found with a head wound.
He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The area was searched with the help of the National Police Air Service, but no suspects were located.
A spokesperson for the Met said: "Police were called 23:11hrs on Friday, 25 July to reports of a man suffering a head injury in New Festival Avenue, E14.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. The victim, ages in his 30s was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
"Officers, with the assistance of the National Police Air Service, searched the area, but where was no trace of the suspects.

"No arrests have been made."
