The body of a man has been pulled from a dock on the Isle of Dogs.
The Metropolitan Police was alerted to concerns for a man at Millwall Docks at 5.54pm on September 5.
A report was made of a man seen entering the water.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and conducted a search of the area.
The body of a man was located and recovered from the water.
His next of kin have yet to be informed.
The Met are treating the death as unexpected but not suspicious.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 17:54hrs on Friday, 5 September after concerns were raised about a man seen entering the water at Millwall Docks, E14.

"Emergency services responded and carried out a search of the area. Sadly the body of a man was recovered from the water. His next of kin are yet to be informed.
"The death is being treated as unexpected but is not believed to be suspicious."
