A woman is in hospital following a crash on a busy road in Whitechapel, London Now reports.
The London Ambulance Service was called to Commercial Road shortly before 3.30pm today (March 3) with reports of an incident.
An ambulance crew, incident response officer, and a paramedic in a fast response car were dispatched to the scene.
The first paramedic arrived on Commercial Road within four minutes of the report being made, as reported by our sister title London Now.
A woman was treated before being taken to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.24pm today (3 March) to reports of a road traffic collision on Commercial Road, E1.
“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“Our first paramedic arrived on scene in four minutes.
“We treated a woman and took her to a local hospital.”
