An investigation is under way after a man was taken to hospital in Limehouse.
Police were called to Basin Approach, in Limehouse, shortly after 4pm yesterday (March 19) after reports of an injured man.
London Ambulance Service crews also attended the scene and treated the man, aged 34, before taking him to hospital, our sister title London Now reports.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
The Metropolitan Police said an investigation is underway into the incident and has urged anyone with information to get in touch.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "On Thursday, 19 March at 16:04hrs police were called to reports of an injured man on Basin Approach, Limehouse.
"Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated the man, aged 34, before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances."
