A TASTE of Mexico is coming to Canary Wharf with the opening of a new burrito restaurant next month.
The opening is scheduled for mid to late November and is part of the expansion of Tortilla, a Californian-Mexican restaurant chain founded by Brandon Stephens which already has branches in Islington and Southwark and is opening another branch in Oxford Circus.
Building work is continuing at the restaurant in North Colonnade, near Canary Wharf DLR, in advance of the opening.
It will be the eighth new restaurant to open in Canary Wharf this year and Mr Stephens believes that his eatery offers credit crunch friendly prices.
