JOANNA Lumley is feeling Absolutely Fabulous about being 'the voice' for a new audio map for the blind visually impaired in London's East End.
The map of Tower Hamlets including Mile End Park has been produced at the London Metropolitan University's specialist business studio in Whitechapel with the star of the 'Fabuous' TV sitcom recording the voiceover guide for the listener.
The project and ops manager Graham Hewson said: "Joanna gave up her time free to record the 'voice over' and the results were effective."
Joanna's 'voice map' can be heard online. Mile End Park is the first in Britain to adopt an 'audio map' for blind visitors.
