HUMAN rights activists will be gathering outside the Tower of London on Thursday as part of the international protests marking the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
The City and Tower Hamlets Amnesty International Group are be taking part in the "Our square is Tiananmen Square action" just after 6pm on June 4 at Tower Hill.
Amnesty Groups across the UK are claiming areas of their towns and cities as in solidarity with the hundreds who were killed after Chinese tanks opened fire on the thousands of people protesting in the huge square in the Chinese capital Beijing on June 4 1989.
