Graduates and apprentices shared a brew with Mayor of Tower Hamlets Lutfur Rahman as part of the council’s employment scheme.
The group of 50 were checking in for an update during their business administration and health and social care programmes.
Tower Hamlets Council’s cabinet member for jobs and skills Cllr Shafique Haque said: “Having an apprentice is a great way to bring fresh ideas and new ways of working into the organisation and it gives existing staff the opportunity to supervise an apprentice and develop their skills.”
The apprentices – aged between 16 and 28 - were served tea at Tower Hamlets Town Hall last Monday.
