As many will know, I have been cleared of all charges filed against me by Tower Hamlets Council after a complaint was submitted against me.
I have made it clear that I believe the charges to have been vexatious. The gruelling eight day trial was very traumatic.
On top of this, I have been subjected to a torrent of false accusations, sexist, racist and Islamophobic abuse, and threats to my safety.
I believe that nobody should have to go through the pain that I have been through.
It is crucial that people come forward and speak out to get help if they feel that they are victims of harassment and/or abuse – and that they are listened to and empowered when they do so.
