Men and women leaving the Armed Forces are being given temporary free rail travel on the Fenchurch Street network to help them look for work.
Ex-service personnel can go free up to six times for job interviews—as well as having free season tickets for two months when starting a new job.
The c2c train operators have signed up to a government scheme encouraging companies to support the Armed Forces and make sure members are not disadvantaged while serving or once they leave.
They are also guaranteeing an interview for any role, as part of the covenant, provided they meet the qualifications.
