Army Cadets from East London swept the board at their annual camp awards on the south coast.
The cadets from Mile End and Bethnal Green scooped eight of the 10 trophies for 2 Company City of London & North East Sector at their two-week training in Folkestone.
The Mile End Detachment alone took three awards, the Drill Competition, First Aid and Bull Shield.
Other awards going to east London cadets included the March & Shoot, Forest Lodge Shooting, Full Bore Shooting and the Ironmonger’s Trophy for most points in competitions throughout the year.
The training involved first aid, skiing, sub-aqua and life skills such as confidence and team-working in a challenging environment.
