Arson investigation after Pink Smart car found burnt out on Isle of Dogs

Police are looking for the owner of a pink Smart car discovered burnt out on the Isle of Dogs in an incident they are treating as a suspected arson.

The car burnt out in Saunders Ness Road, with fire engines attending the scene to tackle the blaze on Monday night.

A police spokesman confirmed no suspects were seen, but the incident is being treated as a crime. The owner of the car has not come forward.
