The realisation of a new waterfront development in Canary Wharf has moved a step closer after an award-winning architecture firm was commissioned last week.
The 20 acre site at Wood Wharf will be designed by PWP Landscape Architecture, and is set to include parks, squares and shopping centres.
Peter Walker, founding principal of PWP Landscape Architecture said: “We are excited by the new Wood Wharf project.
“It is a complex building and open-space challenge and we are delighted to have been selected. We look forward to working with the Canary Wharf Group.”
The Group hopes that the area will attract a broad range of businesses, as well as offering leisure and cultural facilities to visitors.
