TOP bands will line up to show support for a leading cancer charity in this year's Macmillan Brick Lane Takeover.
Following on from the success of last year's debut event, which included The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding and Dave Brown, Frank Turner, Filthy Dukes, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip and MPHO, the one day festival will see live music and DJs take over bars and music venues in Brick Lane.
The festival on Thursday, June 17 will see bands like Eliza Doolittle, Kill It, Three Trapped Tigers, Beatbullyz, The Paris Riots and Shakletons will raise money for Macmillan by playing at 93 Feet East, Vibe Bar, Caf� 1001, The Brickhouse, Rough Trade, Spitalfields Market and Cargo.
Tickets cost �20 www.bricklanetakeover.com and www.wegottickets.com with all proceeds going to help Macmillan continue to provide vital services which help make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
