A team of 100 baristas broke the world record for the most amount of espressos made in an hour during the East End’s coffee festival over the weekend.
The group churned out 12,005 espressos at a rate of 3.33 shots per second at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane on Saturday.
Meanwhile, coffee lovers were treated to blends from all over the world along with international cuisine and live music.
All proceeds from the event, which ran from Friday to Sunday, went towards delivering clean water projects to coffee-producing countries in Africa.
