A BBC TV team has transform a neglected piece of land on a housing estate in Poplar for children with nowhere to play
The Flowerpot Gang’s presenters Anneka Rice, Phil Tufnell and Joe Swift were at the Teviot Estate, off the A12, filming last week.
The team are helping to re-open a garden on the estate in Teviot Street, which was closed after being plagued by anti-social behaviour in the past,
Driving the development to be shown in the programme’s final episode on Wednesday evening, is Jackie, who runs an after-school club on the estate.
As former England cricketer Phil gets to know some of the residents, including mum Peppa and her three sons, the task ahead seems more important than ever.
