More trains were on time on the Fenchurch Street network than anywhere else in Britain last month, according to latest rail industry figures out this week.
National Express operator c2c had 97.2 punctuality on the Southend line in the four week period ending May 26, figures published by Network Rail indicate.
C2c has now finished top of the table for seven of the 13 four-week periods in the past year—the best score in Britain.
