Bow, Bethnal Green and Whitechapel have made it into a guide to London’s art scene.
Web Book: Art Freshers’ Guide to the Art World, has been released by digital arts company ArtRabbit, as a guide for anyone new to the city to make themselves familiar with the capital’s burgeoning art scene.
Especially made for art students new to London, the digital handbook points out the best galleries, museums, and emerging hotspots on the scene.
ArtRabbit founder Tom Elsner said: “The best way to get to know a place is by walking. With London being an endlessly walkable city and so chock-full of inspiring art venues we thought some specific art trails could be a really useful way to get you acquainted with each neighbourhood.”
The V&A Museum of Childhood, the Nunnery Gallery and the Chisenhale Gallery feature in the art trails, which take an hour.

Editor-in-chief Vivi Kallinikou added: “More broadly art and culture are often the first things to be defunded in the face of governmental budget cuts. The precariousness of the availability of resources is a constant struggle for artists. Accessibility to the arts is the antidote to this injustice. And our web book promotes this accessibility.”
