A television and film company based in Bethnal Green is aiming to help tackle underrepresentation in the industry with a new round of internships.

Four Corners, which has its offices in Roman Road, is hoping to help groups such as women, ethnic minorities and people with disabilities break into the industry.

With that in mind it has launched a new internship scheme for 40 unemployed applicants as a route into junior positions in film and television production.

The scheme, entitled Digital Futures, will run from January 2013, and will provude interns with training in camera, production and editing.
