A YOUNG cyclist who was killed in a collision with a tipper lorry has been named as Muhammed Haris Ahmed from Bethnal Green.
The 21-year-old who lived in Bethnal Green Road was cycling in Weston Street in Southwark, near London Bridge, on Tuesday morning when he collided with the lorry.
He was believed to be a fourth-year medical student at King's College and on his way to Guy's Hospital campus when he died.
A post mortem examination is due to be held at Greenwich Public Mortuary later today.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and released on bail pending further investigations by the Collision Investigation Unit at Catford Traffic Garage.
